The young women at the front register come across as unwelcoming and somewhat rude, which detracts from the overall experience. It's surprising considering that the cooking staff has a much better attitude. This is my third visit, and I still haven't had a pleasant experience upon arrival. Management really needs to ensure that their staff checks their attitudes at the door. Food quality is good, though: 4/5.

I had one of the worst experiences at a fast food restaurant recently. When I placed my order, the girl who answered the phone was rude and seemed eager to get off the call. Fortunately, she was also the one at the counter, and it was evident that her attitude reflected a lack of respect for customers. Despite my initial hesitation to eat there, things didn't improve much. Both the girl and the manager struggled to split the bill correctly. As for the food, it was disappointing, and I can assure you that I won’t be returning.

I've tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but the food just keeps getting worse. The cheese in the burritos wasn't even melted, and my tostada was cold and soggy. I should have taken it as a sign to leave when I experienced the low energy and poor service at the register. I won't be coming back. Food: 1/5

The recipe for menudo has changed, and I've been ordering it for 15 years. I was informed that it's now made elsewhere, and it's awful. The dish consists of 95% hominy and spicy broth, while only 5% is actual meat, which doesn’t resemble menudo at all. I ordered the food through Grubhub, and when I contacted Amanda, the kitchen manager at Tamale, she said there was nothing she could do because the food was ordered from their restaurant, making them responsible—not Grubhub. I’ve lost my loyalty as a customer and would not recommend this place due to the poor service and low quality of food.
