Angelo's Taverna Littleton

Better than three stars, but not quite four. I like the warm atmosphere here. I brought two out-of-town friends. This spot is quite busy. We had to wait for a table even prior to 6 on a Monday night, which surprised me. Our server was very attentive but not overbearing. We were very chatty and took our time ordering, and he was very patient. I ordered the strawberry aperol spritz, and it was fine. I wasn't blown away; I might suggest a glass of wine or beer. We snacked on the burrata, which was tasty, and each chose a pasta dish. I did the Pollo Angelito, which was slightly too rich for me. I would've preferred a whole grilled chicken breast over the top instead of tiny pieces of chicken throughout, which didn't seem very fresh, but okay. One thing I noticed about a few of the pasta dishes is that the sauces were very runny/soupy. I took home leftovers and when I reheated them, a large pool of oil sat in the bottom of the takeout box. My friends enjoyed their food and the portions were large. I'd like to come back for lunch or their happy hour and try either a pasta with a tomato-based sauce or a pizza.

I had steak gorgonzola and the sauce was like milk. NOthing stuck to the noodles. The steak was tender. WE were with friends and I didn't want to make an issue. So I called the next day and spoke to Mercedes to make them aware . She said it was not reduced enough and come back again and it should be better. That wasn't very helpful or it dosen't incent me to go back. They acknowledge it was not correct and oh well.

We sat at the bar and Marissa was our server. I followed her suggestion on a micro brew and my friend had a lemmondrop martini. Both hit the spot. We took her advice for vegetarian appetizers and entre's. Her selections were outstanding only exceeded by her outstanding service. As busy as the restaurant was, our food was served in a timely manner. My compliements to all the staff and managers as they work together extremely well to provide a wonderful dining experience. Yeah, I'm going back.

Food was below par for price. Scallops were mushy and undercooked in our appetizer, my dinner was very oversalted and my husband's was exceptionally bland. We won't be returning for these reasons. Service was very good. Very noisy atmosphere.

Delicious food and warm hospitality. Came in after Magic of the jack o lantern with my 5 year old. Mercedes helped us order quickly. We had pizza, fettuccine Alfredo, fried ravioli, and salad. It was all perfect. The atmosphere was inviting. Would definitely come back.
