Curry District - Little Elm

This is likely the finest Indian restaurant in the area. As an American who has lived in the Middle East and spent a significant amount of time in the UK, I have a real appreciation for Indian cuisine — it’s one of my favorites. Over the past decade, I’ve sampled every Indian restaurant in the vicinity. While Curry District is quite good, it may not quite match some of the top British Indian restaurants I’ve experienced. However, within this area, it deserves a sixth star. The Naan is excellently made, and both the Chili Paneer and Chicken appetizers are outstanding. Dishes like Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Aloo Gobi Masala, and Malai Kofta are particularly impressive. The menu offers a wide variety, and I haven’t encountered anything that wasn’t well-prepared. The Gulab Jamun dessert is also quite delightful, striking the right balance without being overly sweet, unlike many I've tasted elsewhere.

This restaurant offers truly authentic Indian curry and cuisine! The meals are outstanding, with perfectly sized portions that leave me feeling full but not overly stuffed. I especially enjoy the butter chicken and tikka masala. We love dining here, and we always leave completely satisfied. They've recently updated their tables and chairs, and they look fantastic!

I ordered Gobi Manchurian for a party, and unfortunately, it wasn't cooked properly. It was semi-cooked and lacked salt. The bell peppers and onions were also undercooked. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and we are not satisfied with the food today.

This restaurant serves amazing food! After visiting from NYC, where there are countless dining options, I struggled to find a flavorful Indian restaurant that reminded me of home until I discovered this gem. The flavors are outstanding, and I can't resist ordering the biryani, butter chicken, and delicious naan every time. I've tried many places, but I would rank this as the best in North Texas. If you're in Frisco or Plano, you should definitely check it out. I've been coming here weekly ever since. 5 STARS!

The combination of spicy, crispy Chicken 65 and biryani rice creates a unique and flavorful experience. The dish balances crispy textures with fragrant rice, infused with the South Indian essence of curry leaves. It’s both savory and aromatic, highlighting the richness of those leaves. I truly enjoy the food here, and they serve generous portions without compromising on quality. I highly recommend that everyone try South Indian cuisine; you should definitely visit at least once!
