This is why I’m never “moving” to GeorgiaThese gas station food spots are NUTS! We pulled into The Gullah Chef in Lithonia. ACTUALLY we circled back to get this food. This man should be ashamed of himself cooking like this in a gas station. Got me and my husband eating in the car via cellphone light ?……. The spot ain’t cute but it’s clean and the food is DELICIOUS!!! #abouttomakemyselfsickWe ordered wings, shrimp fish, mac and cheese collard greens. I can’t remember the last time I’ve had Mac/cheese and greens from a restaurant this good.. LORD HAVE MERCY! The cornbread was… you just gotta bite it to know! The fish, shrimp and wings were good!!The gentlemen who served me was very nice. Jumped up as soon as I walked over and made my main courses from scratch. He was pleasant to speak with and engaged in good conversation.Don’t let the looks throw you off. YOU WILL MISS YOUR BLESSING?I need to cater this food.

If you're looking for authentic soul food, this is the place to be! Everything on the menu is amazing, especially the barbecue oxtails. Chef Thomas catered my birthday party and it's still being talked about two years later. And don't even get me started on the bread pudding - it's a must-try!
