The Christmas breakfast was a mixed bag for us. the wigwam is beautiful, the Christmas man was great, service was excellent and ornamental production was well made. the buffet itself was not particularly good. minimum baked, dished, potatoes (only slightly warm,) speck (good,) baby waffeln and pancakes. the highlight for the children was the topping for the pancakes and waffel, which were sweet, whipped cream and strawberries. I went to several functions at the wigwam, and eating was not on their usual standard. I wouldn't go back.
We had asked for a group of 14. that was not done, even though we had spoken to them. the food was ok, but the lines were very long and it took 20 min to get through them. the opposite of santa was very crowded and the production of ornaments was at the wrong place and blocked every approach to santa. It was a good event for the children only cumbersome especially for someone with a handicap.
I took my two daughters to the Annual Breakfast with Santa event at Litchfields. It is always decorated beautifully and the resort itself is stunning. The buffet breakfast was pretty good, the girls loved the pancake station. However, my server was not very friendly and acted as though it was an inconvenience to get my coffee and the kids drinks. She was also annoyed I asked for a cup with a lid for my three year old. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but for special family events, it's important to be nice because we had been looking forward to this for awhile and her attitude was not pleasant. All in all though, the experience was wonderful and Santa and ornament decorating were a hit. We will be back next year for sure!
Not what I expected. There was no warm welcome from Santa, and no one introduced themselves or explained where to find the buffet or Santa, we had to walk the whole area ourselves. It's understandable that the waiter took a while to bring drinks or process the check because she was swamped. As a whole, the price is excessive for what you get. Hotel breakfast buffet was below average, with stale waffles, powdered eggs plastic-like bacon. There were no advertisements or signs to help you find Santa, and he never cracked a smile. Neither the receptionists nor the hotel staff were kind or approachable. Really, all I can say is that I wish everything had been more well-organized. With an expense of $135, there should have been more for my family of three, such as a professional photo of my youngster with Santa. Wont spend the money again.
