Cafe Zalen De Engel - Lisse

Charming small hotel, clean and modern rooms. Customer orientated with lot of attention for the details. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was big, modern. Shampoo, soap, coffee, tea,...was provided. The restaurant with a bar offers tasty meals for good price. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help with any questions. The only small minus point was the location of our room and the huge metal stairs we have to climb to get to the room. So if you have disabilities with walking is good to mention that before booking. There were other rooms available on the ground floor. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the see, to the tulip filds, not far from Schiphol airport. Parking is for free, and the bus stop is in front of the hotel.

Great restaurant in the middle of the Bollenstreek. Very friendly staff, always welcoming. In my 30+ years of eating at this restaurant I have never been disappointed. Lovely food and very accommodating.

The staff has been extremely welcoming and helpful. Beds are comfortable and our room has a nice balcony that's perfect for people watching.

Very nice Viennese fried veal and chips, also good salad. Various choice of bottled and tap beers. Decent pricing. Worth a try in Lisse.
