This restaurant deserves to be busier because the food is delicious and the service is outstanding. They offer three types of salsa and queso for my husband, who is allergic to cilantro. Even with only two servers on staff, they are very efficient. The food quality exceeds expectations. As for kid-friendliness, I've noticed many families dining here. Parking was also a breeze; we had no trouble finding a spot.

We had dinner here last night for the first time. It was amazing! The drinks were some of the best I’ve had , the food was great and the service was fast and friendly. It has a great outdoor dining area which was a delightful way to spend a summer evening! We will be back for sure.Food: 5/5

This is a lovely restaurant that not only has good food but also delicious drinks. The owner is welcoming to everyone and supports local nonprofits, which is a plus. If you haven't visited El Gran Agave yet, don't hesitate to check it out. The Guayaba and Blood Orange and Cantarito are my favorite drinks paired with a Tampiqueña or Steak Molcajete. My kids love the rice.
