Mauds Lisburn

We’ve been to many all inclusive resorts and this reminds us of one but pricey not the same as cafe mauds or as friendly. Sad but true. It seems they want you in and out as fast as possible as they other things to do which is surprising since it isn’t that busy or wasn’t when we where there. Better service and ice cream at Taylor’s across the bridge in a friendlier setting mauds is available at any spar close by.

I’ve been here many times with different proprietors and always had a nice experience. Sadly this is not the friendly place it once was it only sells American brand sweets which are not really allowed in the uk full of chemicals E numbers etc apart from that it’s quite hard to understand the new proprietors as they do not really speak good English and it’s like a cheap version of a circus stall bubble waffles crepes etc mauds ice cream can be bought 200 metres away without the hassle and cheaper.

This charming shop has incredibly friendly staff and delicious ice cream. From tea, coffee, snacks to vintage sweets in jars, it is a delightful spot to visit after a day of shopping. Julie and Carol are welcoming hosts who make the experience even more enjoyable. If you love ice cream, this is the perfect place for you.
