Sea Me Peixaria Moderna - Lisboa

We really enjoyed the fresh fish! It was maybe the best fish we had in the last decade! Beautiful atmosphere, quick service.

This restaurant was recommended by the check in person at the Ivens Hotel so we tried it. The place is fairly small and was jammed. With low ceilings and hard walls it was really noisy inside. If that’s the vibe you like great, but if you want a bit of room and to easily hear the person your with just FYI. The fresh seafood by weight is very expensive. Our Dorado apparently weighed just over 800 grams (including head and all) which cost us €82.00. That’s very, very expensive for a modest size fish. To make matters worse, it was way too salty corse salt crunch in our teeth! When we told the waiter he apologized but it can’t be fixed and he made no effort to deduct anything from the bill. We had the garlic Tiger prawns to start and they were good! All in all this was disappointing for us.

Tiene muchas mesas y se esta un poco apretado, pero el producto es maravilloso y el ambiente muy bueno. En mi próximo viaje a Lisboa volveré.

El Mar Me es en Rua do Loreto muy cerca de Largo de Camoes, es un mercado moderno de los pescados que significa que tiene dos áreas, una es el restaurante y al lado hay una tienda donde se puede comprar pescado y utilizar el servicio de take-forma para algunos platos ya preparados. En todas partes existe esta conexión con el mar, algo muy típico de los restaurantes de pescado o mariscos viejos y es esta tradición que busca el mar recuperarme unirse a nuevas formas de cocinar esta materia prima. El resultado es platos como tempura fritos en negro (uno de sus platos estrella) pero me gustó el Chocó su risotto de camarones y sushi también es excelente. La cocina está a la vista y todo el pescado marisco también.
