Enjoyed our meal tonight. Escalopes and port sauce. Served with rice and fries, but rice delicate, fresh, and flavoured by port sauce. Lots of tender meat, very good value at approx Portuguese family at the next table advised us what to order next time. We were interested as what they were eating looked so good, but we wouldn’t have a clue ourselves. See photo for their recommendations.

This is my favourite bar restaurant in Lisbon. It's not a 5* eatery and doesn't pretend to be, but if you want good traditional Portuguese cooking at a reasonable price then you could do a lot worse. it's also an interesting spot to just sit outside with a cold beer and you'll need one if you walk up the steep hill from Restauradores!

Sardines and mixed grill were very tasty and the staff warm and attentive. Nice outdoor street scene. Really enjoyed our experience there.
