I ordered paella de marisco ( rice with sampi and whistle, pfeffer and exalted). my wife ordered a Portuguese steak with chips and salat. the food was tasty, but there were very little seafood and not much steak. this restaurant was small. the service was good and we enjoyed our meal. However, the restaurant should increase the portions.
There is nothing special about this restaurant, we sat outside for dinner in r augusto and had their cod in patatas bravas and a pizza. the pizza was perfectly beautiful, the cadjau was soft and well cooked, patatas were hard (and not eaten). no enthusiasm or love to the detail .... tourist in, fed, paid, out .... would not go out of our way to visit again, but probably no other way to one of the restaurants on this tourist strip, so it is ok, decent portions, hot, perfect edible (bar the patatas) but insignificant.
Had dinner there and were very satisfied. I had a huge salate and my wife spit a bit of garnel. both were very good. the service is friendly and attentive and the menu offers a large selection of food. our meals were delicious and cheap...price there are many good restaurants in lissabon and they can quickly be confused with the selection. when they stop here, they can be sure that it is one of them.
When we had lunch at this establishment it was going by the name Restaurante' and it is definitely much more than a bakery. It is located on busy Rua Augusta the tourist heart of downtown Lisboa. We ate al fresco, though there...were plenty of (empty) tables inside. Our meals were substantial, with lots of greens, which is not something you always expect with Portuguese meals. Ordered the grilled salmon, cheese salad, and falafel salad very interesting mini falafels. Only issue was the chirpy Bangladeshi waiter who thought his banter on cricket was worthy of a consideration'.
