Em Alta Na Baixa - Lisboa

Truly exceptional service. All of the staff should be commended on the quality of service they provide. Nothing was too much for them and they all went out their way to ensure we had an enjoyable evening. The gentlemen who welcomed us immediately made us feel like VIPs. We had an under 2 with us and he did not hesitate to offer some food for him immediately to help him settle. The atmosphere was lovely and chic, but also comfortable. The food was not outstanding but still delicious, however, the service more than made up for it.

You must go to this restaurant if you are in Lisbon for a special occasion or just want to have unforgettable food experience. We went with our teenage children and all of us loved every meal. The owner is simply the best host. Most of the ingredients are local and specially chosen for their unique taste. You would expect small portions- but they are definitely not. Beautiful presentation, tasty, no single fault. The wine…. It was fabulous. Book a table at this restaurant and thank me later.

We spent 4 days in Lisbon and tried different restaurants. Alta Baixa was the only one we visited twice. The level of professionalism was off the charts. We were greeted by the managers and they made us feel very special. We ordered octopus and sea bass and the mix of flavors were to die for. We will be back when we return to Lisbon.
