Contribuiți la feedbackFirstly, the food was amazing, as you would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant however, that is probably about it. We arrived at 1pm for Lunchtime service and shown the lunch set menu. There was no attempt to offer us the tasting menu options but as we knew we were going to have the tasting menu beforehand, we subsequently had to requested this! The waitress who took our wine order was not the sommelier knew very little about the wine we had chosen so was unable to provide any advice and once opened was very slow refilling our glasses, bearing in mind there were only 4 other guests in the restaurant that afternoon. As I say, the food was amazing we ordered a second bottle of wine. Sadly, towards the end of our lunch (the time was now 3pm), all the staff were now standing around in the restaurant chatting amongst themselves and making us feel as though we had outstayed our welcome so we decided to pay the bill (including a tip for the staff) and leave without finishing our wine! We live in London and enjoy dining in similar restaurants regularly and rarely do I write a poor review however, in this instance, I would recommend anyone thinking of going to a fine dining restaurant in Lisbon either expect poor service or go to one of the many other Michelin starred restaurants Lisbon has to offer. Sorry Eleven, must try harder!
Comida e atmosfera foram ótimas! Mas o serviço foi inferior por causa de uma garçonete. Ela estava apressando o serviço quando era Michelin e tivemos que pedir a ela para diminuir o ritmo porque. Outra equipe foi extremamente amigável e excelente serviço.
Sempre é um risco reservar em algum lugar chique em uma cidade que você não conhece, mas valeu a pena. A comida é incrível e todos os funcionários muito simpáticos e prestativos. Tivemos o menu de onze degustação e harmonização de vinhos.
O almoço no Eleven começa com uma vista fabulosa sobre Lisboa e depois vai melhorando. A comida é deliciosa e divertida (especialmente o teatro ao lado da mesa para fazer sopa de pedra). O pastel de nata desconstruído com a sua bica é uma das melhores sobremesas que já comi. Outros destaques do Menu Amália Rodrigues incluíram amuse bouches primorosamente confeccionados, barra de ouro e um fantástico leitão com arroz. O brioche apresentado com os petits fours foi totalmente exagerado... e totalmente irresistível.
Eleven is for special occasions— a marvelously creative chef and hardworking prep cooks create masterpieces that also taste amazing. This was 2.5 hours of quiet bliss, only one other couple there on a Tuesday night. Service was great and we really dug into the specifics of each recipe. Fascinating all around. You won’t go away starving either, this is a fine dining experience that also knows how to fill you up. We brought home most of the cheese course and a second dessert round as well as a darling little cake served for a birthday.
