Recommended by our Viking guide. Very good, unpretentious local Portuguese restaurant focusing on seafood and meat. Our waitress was great. We got fried cod, grilled squid, and a savory bread pudding with shrimp. We also had olives, ham, and cheese that were offered up initially. If you don't want starters, let them know. Ended with a sour cherry digestif.

Fala inglês e é super amigável. A sangria acabada de fazer é algo a não perder. A comida era grelhada na hora (carvão) e os sabores eram incríveis.

Adorei a nossa refeição aqui. Ponto local. Muito amigável. Boa comida. Esteja ciente de que eles trarão pão, queijo, azeitonas e patê para sua mesa sem serem solicitados. Cada um desses itens será cobrado em sua fatura se você aceitá-los. É fácil recusá-los quando chegam à mesa, mas o conjunto de aperitivos acrescentará cerca de 15 euros à sua conta.

I was staying in Lisbon with a friend also a colleague for a few days whilst working. We stayed at the Ibis nearby which is another story! WE found this place not far away and were impressed with the food and the service and so ate here for 3 nights out of the five we were there! I chose fish every time and especially recommended is the octopus salad and any of the fish dishes. Great wine and service with a smile but don't be rushed into making a quick choice, take your time and ask if you are not sure of anything. Typically Portuguese and a lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices.
