Isto é um Tasco. Um Tasco, pequeno, humilde mas óptimo. Local para se comer bom e barato. O Sr Alfredo é uma simpatia. Recomendo.

This is a hidden gem! The place would be perfect for an Almodovar movie if it was set in Portugal, some people might find it rough but it is absolutely an amazing experience. It feels like you’re travelling to the past and to the countryside to have a nice homemade meal. Love it!

I lived next to the place for 10 months and went there once a week. Best place in Lisbon. Typical small restaurant in a typical Portuguese non-tourist part of Lisbon. The menu is handwritten and fits the Portuguese flair. Prices are insanely good and the salmon is the best I have ever had. It’s 5.50 Euros and a liter of housewine, which is also very good, costs 2.40 Euros : The owner is a really sweet elderly guy, who runs the place with one cook. I would reserve or be very early or you will not get a seat as many people from Campolide eat there regularly.
