Nero Pizzeria - Linlithgow

I was sceptical upon coming here due to the other review which rated it 1 star, but i have to say my experience was very good. They had pasta and pizza on offer but since the pizza was cooked in the same oven as the gluten containing pizzas, i went with the gf pasta. I did ask the staff if they could use separate utensils and everything to prepare it so if you go i would recommend doing that. Overall, the pasta was delicious! (i had it with a tomato sauce) and i didn’t get unwell.

TERRIBLE!! Do not go here! They claim to have gf pizza and pasta, however the pizza is prepared and baked in the same oven as normal ones and they use the same utensils. I had an argument with the chef because he said it was pointless asking for a gf pizza due to so much cross contamination. He wiped his finger along the register and said this is covered in wheat flour every day, so cc is inevitable. I only found this out after I’d been served my pizza and noticed lots of black stuff on the bottom of it and enquired further. The pizzas looked bad anyway, more like a kebab shop pizza than an actual Italian style pizza. They do offer dairy free cheese. They also weren’t sure if the sausage was GF and wouldn’t check for me.
