Contribuiți la feedbackI've just moved to Lindsay and have gone to this pita place four times. I am always very happy with the food I receive and the service. However, the male counterpart that was working on occasion was openly rude to the female which is not acceptable. It's already bad enough that he's probably mean to her alone, but to do it infront of a customer is just not alright in any instance. She wasn't doing anything that was bothering me. I'll return based on her service and the food that she prepares for me.
Bad service by the men. The female was trying. The two men were very rude. Using old expired ingredients. Very small portions of toppings. When asked for more they said it would cost more. Walked out and went to the pita pit instead!
From the moment we tried placing our orders, we were met with an argumentative female worker who clearly had no social skills whatsover. From the start there was something really "off" with this young woman. As if our presence was somehow irritating her. She became annoyed with my husband when he reminded her that he had asked for olives and absolutely rude when I requested no lettuce on mine. She actually threw her arms up in the air. Lettuce was the only item in the bowl at that point, so it wasnt like I was asking her to pick through other ingredients to remove it. At this point we had experienced more than enough ignorance and walked out. I understand that there was a bit of a language barrier which perhaps made her lose patience, but that is absolutely NOT the fault of the customer just trying to place an order. How about hiring staff with even the smallest amount of social skill....you lost customers tonight because your girl behind the counter couldn't offer decent customer service. We won't be back and we'll stick with Pita Pit from now on.
Lindsay has too few fresh food restaurants. I can think of Teriyaki Town, Pane Vino and a couple of Thai restaurants. How I hate tasteless food that arrives in restaurant kitchens in plastic bags ready for warming and serving. Thus I am delighted to report that Exteme Pita in the Lindsay Square, just to the left of the main entrance, serves fresh food that is both inexpensive and a delight to the taste buds. Among the menu items are shawarmas, soulakis, falafels, grilled chicken and goat cheese and so on. It's a tiny and friendly place. Seating is limited but you can do take out if you wish. Give it a try and meet the owners from the western part of India. You'll be impressed.
Extreme Pita in Lindsay Mall is fantastic. The owner, Bhargavkumar, is very welcoming and makes delicious pitas. It's a must-visit in Lindsay Square Mall, trust me. My favorite is the chicken shawarma, so I highly recommend trying it! I always stop by here whenever I need something to eat.
