The meatloaf, oxen, yellow rice, and macaroni and cheese, along with the topped greens, were absolutely phenomenal. I will definitely be returning!

We dine at this restaurant twice a week! I can confidently say that the food is excellent. On our first visit, we both tried the crushed chicken. I ordered macaroni and cheese along with collard greens, while my companion chose potato salad and macaroni and cheese. It was so delicious that we decided to return! On our next visit, I had fried chicken with macaroni and cheese and potato salad, while he enjoyed shrimp and fish with the same sides. The atmosphere is wonderfully romantic and picturesque. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Southern food!

I had a fantastic dinner special on February 20! It was absolutely delicious. The cornbread was also incredible! The ambiance was warm, and the music was pleasantly low, adding to the experience. I will definitely come back to try more items from the menu!

WOW! WOW! If I could give this place 10 STARS, I would. This is a blooming BLACK OWNED BUSINESS in Linden, NJ! The atmosphere is at home; so welcoming, so kind. Live music, service, host, FOOOOOOOD!!!! I don't know where to start. I felt I was back in a Georgian house. Hospitality combined with food and music... I was speechless. I'll travel by foot from NY to eat here again! And the boss! Thank you. From the juicy corn bread, the greenest of the green Collard Greens, the amazingly moist salmon and your a kind of service! It was great to meet you! Everything was so good! This hidden gem is located right on the NJT, a 40-minute drive from NYC!
