We were promptly seated and offered complimentary cheese and crackers with cheese dips. We also decided to try their delicious homemade bread, which was super soft. The cook definitely deserves compliments! Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals and had a wonderful time. To top it off, we received complimentary white chocolate at the end of our meal, which was also incredibly delicious.
From the friendly welcome to the attentive service, this restaurant is definitely a place worth spending some time in. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, and the menu is one of the most extensive and unique I've come across in a while. It was so difficult to decide what to order! Eventually, my husband went for a burger and I chose the blackened chicken tacos. We were offered complimentary crackers and cheese to snack on while we waited for our meals to arrive... and let me tell you, those cheeses were absolutely irresistible! It was hard not to fill up on them before our main dishes arrived. The food was excellent, with the fries being some of the best I've had in a long time. And of course, we couldn't resist trying the turtle cheesecake, which was simply delicious.
During our first trip to the US from India, we decided to visit New Hampshire despite it not being the best season. While the city of Lincoln was mostly secluded, one standout was the common man restaurant. The service was excellent with friendly staff, and the food was really good with generous portion sizes. I would have rated it 5 stars for food if my steak hadn't been slightly overdone. Despite that, it is still a great place to visit with a cozy atmosphere and friendly vibe. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant.
I had an amazing dinner here with my family. We were here once before while visiting the White Mountains, and we had a great time then. We ordered arancini, beef and vegetable soup, baked onion soup, lobster corn chowder, chicken pot pie, and cheesecake for dessert. They also offer tasty warm bread, cheese, and crackers. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was impeccable. When my wife thought the baked onion soup she was served was a bit too spicy for her and slightly burnt, they immediately replaced it with another one. It is perhaps the best restaurant in Lincoln, New Hampshire. The location was also incredibly convenient for us, as we were staying across the street at the Kancamagus Lodge and did not need to find parking.
My Son and I loved this place!! You have to like old style Americana fare because their menu is stocked full of it. Meatloaf, pot roast and pot pies are my soul food because they remind me of my parents. This place didn't disappoint at all. The pot roast and chicken pot pie were outstanding!!! The place was crazy busy to the point I started feeling bad for the staff as there didn't seem to be enough of them to cover all the people but they did. We would definitely come back here!!! Don't be alarmed by the amount of cars in the lot because the place is HUGE with tables and couches (yes people eating on couches) everywhere on the inside. The bill was very reasonable and we left a larger tip for our server who worked her butt off that night!!
