Popped in to the White Hart at lissington on Thursday 6th October to take in the open mike night and decided to have our meal there. Nicely set out dining room with a lovely wood burner and polite and attentive staff. We had a lovely fish pie with cheesey mash accompanied by a really nice salad. It was a good sized portion, the fish pie was huge, homemade and full of fish. The open mike nite is on the first Thursday in the month and was well attended with all levels of musicians performing a good range of music. The owners has recently taken over and have done their utmost to improve the pub and are planning various other events and novelty evenings. Highly recommended.

Bring on the G&Ts..or wine..or specially made cocktails! Warm and friendly service, and welcome from the staff and fellow patrons alike.

Staff needs a bit more experience on service. Food was average, starters are big, main course was a bit greasy. But I must say the Cheesecake was Amazing so in all it was worth it just for the desert.

Beautiful place and very welcoming. dog-friendly in bar area.
