L'Etable - Limony

We had dinner at l'Etable as a last resort on the strangest Thursday evening when all our other options turned out to be closed. The restaurant offers mainly grilled beef and some specialties from Savoie. When entering the dining room you are first caught by the strong smell of burnt wood and grilled meat. The smoky atmosphere is noticeable. The staff were very friendly. The food was average without being memorable. We went for half a bottle of Saint-Joseph from 2015 at 18€. It was poured in our glasses without us being given the opportunity to taste it first. The wine was not corked fortunately but much too young, tannic and acidic. We were expecting much more from a local wine from this well known region. Overall a decent restaurant. However you can do much better in this area...

Ce n est pas la première fois que je vais manger là bas et je ne regrette pas ! pour cette fois, menu unique copieux, très copieux et surtout très bon. l ambiance est sympathique et chaleureuse, avec un feu de cheminée qui nous plonge dans une belle ambiance. je recommande de réserver et d arriver un peu en avance uniquement par rapport aux places de parking ( deux parkings un en face l autre dans une rue adjacente )accueil agréable et attentionné, le patron connait ses produits. en somme, je recommande fortement.

Charmant resto à la déco travaillée et bien restauré. Les carreaux vichy sont très kitch. Nous avons mangé une excellente raclette. Bon choix.
