La Grogia - LIMONE PIEMONTE

Fantastic place , food is great , beautiful landscape and great service ! Good value for money, lovely atmosphere to relax . It took us 1 hour to walk there with our 6 years old and 30 min to return to Panice.

Basing on my memories I decided to have a lunch break on Saturday 23th. Cold place, questionable service since we saw a free table without any 'reservation label ' we sat down and waiter told us 'it is reserved '. Waiting for a table to be cleaned together with unhappy waiter doing that. A plate of wurstel with dry and cold potatoes at 12 euros. Unconfortable even by considering the location especially if compared to other spots in the the same ski resort.

Arrived for lunch on a Saturday, and more than half the tables were empty. The waitress asked if we had a reservation (we didn’t) and then said we would have to wait “a while”. Luckily the view and atmosphere were beautiful. After 15 minutes (where all the tables were still half empty), she came and asked for our name. My friend asked how long, and again she said “a while”, but he pushed and she finally said “maybe half an hour, they have to finish eating”. Another 40 minutes later, she finally came back and said we could sit (now about 1/3 of the tables were empty). Then it took her another 15 min to come back and take our order. But, the food came quickly and was delicious. Highly recommend the grilled meat dishes. And when we left, there were still at least 2 tables that had stayed empty the ENTIRE time we were there...

I was at the restaurant on one of the organized evenings. a really pleasant dinner in a juvenile but composed and ordered context, dj set suitable; we managed to get dinner without the environment being too noisy. after the evening experience I decided to return to lunch the next day and I could only confirm the impression of the previous evening, the quality of food is excellent. do not miss this chalet surrounded by nature

Local ski slopes but also accessible by car due to the lack of snow. very, very nice, completely renewed both from the aesthetic point of view and from the management. simple, elegant and warm interior. the kitchen is great, the menu of the dinner, although without possibility of choice, met in full our goats. traditional dishes work very well. It is evident that the kitchen is very well maintained both from the point of view of the raw materials and from the skill of those who prepare them. prices adapted to the quality found. very engaging the party after dinner animated by a great DJ.
