Hi guys, popped in for evening meal , I had the mixed steak and duck, with plenty of chip, tons of pepper sauce. Da wife had the house special , three types of toast with filling, beef and mushrooms , cheese and chicken. Service was excellent . All in all, top meal, all done in an hour! Cost , with one beer and a glass of wine forty squid! Bargain! My only little , tip, need a popular lager.
On a day trip to Limoges, stopped at this restaurant because it looked nice from the outside. The inside was full so we decided to brave the elements (and potential smokers) and sit outside. The service was excellent. Our drinks were with us instantly and our waiter translated some of the trickier items into English for us. Since it was a Friday there was an abundance of fish on the menu which was great as we don't eat meat. The food was delicious. Well recommended!!
Managed to get a meal at 1.30pm once the crowd had gone, but we had enjoyed the Musee De Beaux Art. The Plat de Jour was finioshed but an excellent salad. Was welcomed by Patron and Staff and would have returned had they been open on our last evening.
Stumbled across this place while ambling to the cathedral. We kinda thought 'near the older, touristy part of town so it won't be up to much' but we did notice the aromas and so thought we'd give it a whirl. So glad we did. Fantastic food; the escargot/mushroom/cheese and the mussels entrees were flavoursome beyond belief. The mains (gambas brochette and one of their range of salads; chicken and mango toast) were just as good. Good food is always better with good service but the guys here made great food even better by providing genuinely great service. Really friendly, really helpful.
