Charlie Chaplins - Limerick

I have had two very different experiences at this restaurant. The first time I went, my family and I enjoyed a wonderful three-course meal with a variety of choices and excellent service. However, when I went with three friends for drinks and dinner last Friday, we were extremely disappointed. Despite repeatedly asking for drinks, the waiter never brought them to our table. The menu had been reduced and the quality of the food was average, especially considering the price.

My family and I had a wonderful meal at The Bridgehouse on Saturday night. One of our group had allergies, and the staff and chef were extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to cater to her needs. The staff were lovely, friendly, and engaging. The food was top-notch, as all 13 of us left satisfied and happy. It's not easy to please everyone at the table, but the chef managed to do just that. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to everyone at The Bridgehouse.

We ate at this restaurant twice during our recent trip to Tullamore. The first time, I had the full Irish breakfast which was excellent. Brenda opted for the smaller 5 item version and we both enjoyed our meals. During our second visit, we chose the carvery. I had the salmon which was really nice and came with plenty of fresh vegetables. Brenda had the roast beef which she was very happy with. The glasses of Rose wine we received from the bar complemented our meals perfectly. We will definitely return on our next trip to town.

Came in with my youngest son for his birthday last weekend. Food was lovely as always and the girl serving us made every effort to accommodate his fussiness. I'd briefly mentioned the big occasion when we first arrived, and my son was absolutely thrilled when the team came out and sang happy birthday, with candles and all on his dessert. 5 stars.

Visited the bistro last Saturday and had a brilliant night. Our server Ryan couldn't help us enough, we both went for the sirloin steak on his recommendation and the food was absolutely fab. We stayed there for the duration of the night and the band and atmosphere were next to none. Will definitely be back.
