Castletroy Park And Suites - Limerick

Family of 2ad and 2kids stayed on 29th Dec 2023. Overall can 't fault the food or staff..The food is excellent and the kids menu options is the best I have ever seen in any hotel including all inclusive hotels in Europe. Certain areas of the hotel needs upgrading such as the pool and gym locker area and sections of the swimming pool area need repair. Overall 4 star rating in my eyes is a push... The lobby and reception area was nicely done for the Christmas. The hotel also had a busy wedding reception on in the main reception area when we arrived but the receptionist was very clear for the time frame for that to discipitate to the main ballroom. We availed of the swimming pool while the guests and tidy up occurred...but the reception did impact on us availing of the bar area. Not much sleep had with the wedding guests kids noise resulted with I 'm guessing a frigtened barking dog in an adjacent room as a result. So not much sleep had at all... Maybe if (and it 's a big if) we stay again we would be more street wise with the requirement in having to book your table in advance even for the bar area and it would prompt us to ask for different rooms away from potential wedding guests/pet friendly rooms. I love dogs but I wouldn 't bring them with me into a 4-star hotel.

We had a wonderful stay here , myself my partner and my 7 yr old daughter really enjoyed it. The pool and gym were top class, the room was warm , comfortable and spotless, and the staff were some of the nicest we ever met in any hotel. Would highly recommend, and hopefully we will be back soon.

Great prices. Had I seen pictures of the terrace prior to arrival I probably would have chosen the premiere suite instead but wasn't a major issue (It was just a bit smaller than expected with no shelter etc) Staff were friendly and accommodating. Likely to return

I stayed one night at this hotel with my Son before Christmas while visiting family. We had a lovely big room. We didn’t have time to use any of the other facilities. Lovely hotel , we will use it again.

A big thank you to the waitress who was very helpful and diplomatic. Totally enjoyed the food and rooms were great
