Roseneck - Limburg

Visited Limburg as part of a coach holiday and had to find lunch. Not fancying bratwerst again as we were visiting Christmas Markets decided to try the Roseneck for lunch. The dinning room was what I'd always seen as being typically Baverian, although not in Baveria. We had a booth and the friendly Waiter offered us a menu in German. As I speak virtually no German that was a problem until he brought an English version. My partner stated with a shrimp Salad which was large enough for a main course and I had Minestrone Soup which was warming and satisfing on a cold day, although far from the Italian Classic in its construction. For the main courses a Lasagne and a Wiener Schnitzel were ordered. I was disappointed in the quality of my but the Lasagne was large and very good. The two courses put together provided enough food for three not just two so we came away stuffed. The Atmosphere was good and we enjoyed it but the food was nothing that special so whil;st the overall experiance was higher than average I can't score the place more than average.

I was disappointed by the quality of mine, but the lasagne was great and very good. the two combined courses delivered enough food for three not only two, so we are filled. the atmosphere was good and we enjoyed it, but the eating was nothing special so whil;st the entire experience was higher than average I can not get the place more than average.

The pizza dough was not salted at all after nothing tasted! My wife had noodles with seafood these were inedible. Totally sour and watery...just disgusting. Was returned and she didn't want to eat anything else there. The salad for 8.50 is a joke a small plate and almost no salad included. Once and never again, there's probably someone who never learned his job. Because I'd rather eat at home!

Really these ITALIAN are artists! Mega delicious food, super friendly staff and also the ambience not to be desired! For this taste experience we like to attract many kilometers! We always like to come to dinner! Whether family celebration, business appointment or ring with friends, or for a quick dinner a top address!!!

I ordered a pizza today. They were very fast and friendly. And the pizza salami was really delicious.
