Contribuiți la feedbackSenor Limon is a good seafood especially small chain in Lima. I ate several. They serve consistently good food. They are safe and clean with very good service. By the Peruvian standards they are somewhat overpriced, but it is always a good place to fall back if not sure where to go. Your Ceviche is always top notch! And it's hard to blame something else. If not for the slightly elevated prices I would give them 5.
On Saturday for lunch with friends. We chose the buffet for 59.90 soles and thought it was amazing. Elections are limited (not like other endless buffets), but quality is excellent. They offer four types of mackerel, their signature Señor Limón Cebiche, which is fantastic, a few tiraditos and a few other seafood plated. I recommend the leche de Tigre. You can actually choose with what sauce you want. We loved it with the rocoto sauce. They even have a dessert station with Picarones, Aroz con leche, mazamorra morada and two types of cheesecake. Drinks are extremely expensive, so advice before ordering drinks! We had the most expensive pitcher of the lemonade each (24 soles), a mistake that we wouldn't do for a second time. Service was wonderful. There was a young lady at the buffet all the time to explain everything and helped to serve the food. The Pikarones were also a bit cold, as we asked if they would bring out more, our server ensured that we had a fresh record from recently made. We're definitely coming back.
Very good ceviche, efficient staff. Generally, dishes are well served (I could not finish my dish and I was so sad that was not possible to have a doggy bag with fresh fish hahaha!!! Just one thing... it's expensive, but it deserves it!
Try pulpo al olivo (octopus slices bathed on an olive sauce), tiradito de rocoto (Pacific Ocean white fish, thinly sliced and cooked on a concoction of key lime juice, hot pepper, spice and aromatic herbs), Peruvian rice with shrimp -Chinese style, choritos a la chalaca (mussels cooked with the same concoction of the tiradito, topped with salsa), and, of course, wash everything down with chicha morada (Peruvian purple corn beverage)! De-lish!
Very good food all times I went. Service is like any other restaurant of the kind in Lima, lots of waiters but still you have to wait to be sit by a lady that does not take your order becoming a bottle neck making you wait in case there are people waiting as well. I tried the Tiradito con Pulpo al Olivo which was very good since both came without mayonnaise, which made both the fish and the octopus slices very light and tasteful. Prices are similar to other restaurants with the same level but expensive for what it is in Peru.
