Had a short stop with Peru. Atmosphere was nice, the food was good and prices ok (12 Sol for an avocado sandwich and a really good fruit juice). Can recommend it!
It was a pleasant stop about an hour out of Lima's city limits. After a string of pick ups from different accommodations within the city, and navigating through traffic to get out, this was a good rest stop for Peru Hop's passengers and crew. We had pre-ordered our breakfast options through Peru Hop's onboard crew member. When we arrived we lined up to pay and then proceeded to get our breakfast. It worked like clockwork. Prices are in the lower band of the mid-range. Food and service was okay...nothing great or fancy. What you would expect of a truck/rest stop. The venue has a huge parking area for buses which I think is one of the reasons for this stop. The grounds is huge. It has a swimming pool, horse barns, guinea pig enclosure, playground for kids and much more.
They have nice light meals and coffee. Clean bathroom and pleasant areas to sit and enjoy your meal.
We stopped here because Peruhop had this as the designated breakfast place. It was clean and with nice seating and clean toilet all the things you want in a pit stop. No obligation to buy the food but we wanted to try a “traditional Peruvian breakfast”, which was quite expensive at 13 soles, for an avocado roll and coffee with milk (the was microwaved . The coffee was surprisingly nice and the roll was fresh, with nice avocado and tomato (vegetables taste a lot better in Peru , but it was quite small and basic for the price. I wouldn’t have said this was traditional Peruvian having eaten lots of other places. Apart from that, the ordering was very, very slow (despite ordering ahead , it took over 30 minutes for everyone to be served, and the staff were disinterested and not friendly at all. They might be friendlier to non tourists (I spoke Spanish to them but was clearly on a tourist bus! .
