I had never needed a midday reservation, but this time of the year, with vacation looming, office ferienesses are de rigeur. so a packed restaurant is never a good thing: kitchen is on overdrive and waiter, despite their experience are cumsy. this is the first time I didn't return a court because I knew it would take longer at the time it first came out of the kitchen. the anticuchos were therefore not steaming, but they managed to pass the taste test, as well as the roasted sweet potatoes. the empathy for the personal was the lection of today, and I survived the cold anticuchos.
Nice eating during 8n lima. enjoy local taste with a toast of pisco sour.
This is the second time that I visited jose antonio in my last two traveling to lima. great, traditional, Peruvian cuisine. we brought some amazing red wee and had some great dishes. we had the special mixing plate, lomo saltado and recoto relleno. I recommend the anticuchos de corazon, they are ridiculously ingenious. the one court that will keep me back and forth is the rocoto relleno. it is spicy, sweet and has a fantastic comforting taste. if you want traditional Peruvian cuisine with good service, come here. you will not disappoint!
Traditional criolla cuisine, place is like a museum, like a traditional hacienda. I recommend the Lomo-Salzado, try the anticucho of the heart.
Tasty Peruvian dishes, nice, comfortable place and great service.
