Huancahuasi La Molina - Lima

This a different restaurant in Lima serving Andean food from the Central Andes región. We had an Andean breakfast with scrambled eggs and Andean ham, tamales, fruit juices, and jams on local-baked bread. Try it for a different experience. For lunch they serve cuy and...patasca.

After a busy working day when we skipped lunch, we decided to venture in that neighbourhood in order to have a quick bite but most restaurants were closed due to the time. We saw Huancahuasi open and decided to go in. It is really nicely...decorated with a really good Andean Ambiance from the tablecloths to the music and tv. The food was excellent and the service also really nice. I am planning to return.

A little bit off the tourist route but well worth the trip. Best food I've had in Peru so far; Andean cuisine at its best and the best variety of pisco sour cocktails I have yet seen the Coca Sour being my favourite.

Sono entrata per curiosità, alcuni amici me ne avevano parlato di questo posto. Il cameriere molto educato e con il costume tradizionale peruviano, il cibo era spettacolare, ne tornerò sicuramente!!! Excelente lugar para pasar con la familia, amigos y extranjeros. Ves la cultura andina peruana y buena comida. Precios moderados. Los domingos siempre hay alguien que toca y canta el feliz cumpleaños en QUECHUA.
