After lunch, we decided to try Marmalade de Sucre. They're a Taiwanese chain with another Montreal location in Chinatown.Service is hands off as you order using your phone), yet our order was somehow messed up. Mango Taiwanese shaved ice TS1) $10.99) portion is large and perfect to share. Found the shaved ice light in flavour and missing something in its texture. Okay but didn't satisfy. Black sesame egg waffle J4) $10.99) egg waffle was better than average. The black sesame ice cream paired nicely with it. Fresh fruits with black grass jelly mixed cold BG4) $7.49) our waitress mixed this up and gave us the fresh fruits sago mixed SM4). She rectified the mistake and brought out a separate bowl of grass jelly. Grass jelly lacked texture. The sago was standard and the fruit watermelon and honeydew) was uninspiring.Chainy Taiwanese/HK desserts at MdS. Not itching to come back.

We dropped in on a Saturday around 2:30pm and were the only customers there. The inside has a hipster neon sign with fake greenery. Service is hands off as you order using your phone , yet our order was somehow messed up. The menu is massive with everything from desserts shaved ice, parfait, HK style egg waffles, black grass jelly, black glutinous rice, etc. to food appetizers, entrees and traditional soups and drinks. Came here after dinner for some late night desserts but was super dissatisfied. Omfg I don't even know where to start. Location was small and hard to find. No AC!!! In the middle of summer. Flies everywhere!!! Most good items was sold out on the menu. The drinks wasn't that cold. Super hot with no AC and room temperature drinks.... Omfg. No thanks. Never come again. I added 1 more star,. The mango shaved ice was very good and hit just right.

Its an alright place for Asian dessert and snacks. I have had better. Service was good. I would go again just for the waffles.

The atmosphere was nice and chill. Regarding the food, all were average, but the shaved ice tasted better than Meet Fresh. Due to its convenient location, we usually come to this place. The bubble tea Taiwanese shaved ice and Japanese teriyaki french fries are our favorites. ??
