Marathon Souvlaki

Marathon souvlaki is a staple in montreal. The food has always been consistently great throughout the years and never went down in quality. You can order pretty much anything on the menu and never go wrong. If you haven’t eaten there yet, I would go for the gyro, chicken stick or calamari that are an assured value.Le Marathon soulvlaki est un endroit à montreal qui doit être absolument à essayer. Very nice experience at Marathon! Simple and effective menu and generous proportions. The service is professional and fast and the space is perfect for large groups. Lots of parking since it is in a Smart Center

I will never be ordering from here again. After placing an order for 2 chicken gyro plates and 1 meat plate, each plate came in the condition as shown in the picture below (3/4 and more of the plate was just rice, or fries for the other plates). After contacting the restaurant to resolve the issue, it was met with denial sir we have been in business for 20 years our portions are better than ... . The service was extremely disrespectful and is not how a business should treat their clientele. If ever you have a problem with anything in your order, do not expect to ever be understood or be treated as a customer should be.

The atmosphere was fantastic. I ordered the lamb chops, chicken brochettes, souvlaki, chicken pita, Greek salad, fried cheese, and calamari, and everything was absolutely delicious! They were unfortunately out of filet mignon. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was served promptly. I would definitely recommend this place!

The food here is undeniably delicious, but I found myself wanting a bit more seasoning to truly enhance the flavors. It's also important to mention that the prices tend to be on the higher side. Overall, it was a tasty experience, but it feels slightly expensive for what you receive.
