Da Miro - LIGNANO SABBIADORO

I have been to many cities in Italy and eaten amazing food, but the seafood in Da Miro is the best. It’s very fresh and just delicious, so I couldn’t stop eating It’s only 1km far from the very touristic place in Lignano, so if you want to enjoy a calmer atmosphere by the sea, experience the kind service and taste the yummiest dishes, just walk to Da Miro!

Beautiful restaurant near the sea. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The restaurant has a luxurious feel and we really liked that. Definitely recommend.

Apart from the outstanding food, what I think makes Da Miro special is its atmosphere. Situated right on the Lignano lagoon, the restaurant boasts a wonderful open air set of tables under huge parasols and with lots of space. I have been here a couple of times with my family and it has never disappointed. Perfectly fine for a lovely date night, I think it 's best enjoyed in the company of a group of friends or family or both. The food is outstanding, starting from the appetisers. The sautéed mussels shine bright on the menu, with a few different sauces to choose from, and the steamed prawns with balsamic glaze that I had were delicate and delicious. The highlight for me, however, is always the main. Although the restaurant has a very comprehensive fish menu, I have a weak spot for their fritto: a large plate of fried shellfish, prawns, calamari and fish. The coating is very light and it does not feel overwhelming in the hot weather and the fish is so fresh you can forget any sauces: all you need to do is squeeze some lemon on it and enjoy. A feast for the senses that can be heightened by ordering their Cormorano sparkling wine, so light and so refreshing you 're going to want to keep an eye on how much you order. Top all of this off with a nice digestiff, like one of their limoncellos, or meloncellos (yes, the melon version of the limon and you 'll inevitably have an unforgettable evening out, with wonderful food, in a wonderful, welcoming setting, that does not burn a hole through your wallet.
