Le Shanghai - Liege

We chose chinese vegetables with mushrooms, but there were very few mushrooms and lots of packs and that was it. There was white rice. We should have picked tofu, but we weren't informed about that. For vegans, so very little choice. Other than that, the vegetables were very salty. Half a gallon of water costs 5 euros. Little vegetables with rice cost 12 euros. Updated copy on 2022-10-24-

I recently visited this restaurant and was disappointed to find that the "vegetarian" section of the menu was extremely limited. I originally chose the tofu with Sichuan peppers, but after consulting with my partner who had the Chinese language menu, I discovered that it actually contained prawns. I decided to play it safe and ordered the noodles with vegetables instead, after confirming with the staff that it was indeed vegan. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly, but the limited options and potential for confusion were concerning.

Once again, the quality at this restaurant is exceptional, the service is top-notch, and the wine selection is excellent. The value for the quality is outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone with a refined palate.

This Chinese restaurant in Liège is excellent, with friendly service. They also offer a wide variety of wines to choose from.
