Excellent in everything. aligned to the hotel that beinhalten, hotel excelsior.
The restaurant is advertised as tropicana, but the hotel staff will tell them that tropicana is no longer and it is now called elimar beach bar. we spent a frustrating half hour on looking for the right place to check-in, as we were redirected from the hotel reception to a Martini bar, then to the old tropenana up, and finally the newly named elimar down, which was marked by little more than an 8x10 plate stand. we found that the menu was as expensive as we expected for a michelin star restaurant, although we did not receive any information about the cook and doubted whether we even get a meal prepared by it. Finally, the restaurant was removed into the floor with an endless view of the Cabana back 20ft, with nothing more than the sound of the ozean to let them know that it was there. the roof marking was enhanced with clear sky and no wind, so we felt like we were trapped on someone's back, instead of showing a large terrace on all. as a result we felt deceited as we chose this restaurant in large part because of the ambientes and the wonderful prospects for its display. our meal was delicious, and perhaps the only thing that was us from the fee as the experience was a complete gloomy. However, if we have experienced both the gritti terrace and the danieli terrace during our stay in venice and testify to the highest standard, I can say that the tropicana terrace, he elimar beach bar, just missed the brand.
