Contribuiți la feedbackI love the food here. Very affordable and a fair few options. The menu often changes but at the moment the options are a few vegan pizzas and cauliflower buffola wings. A family favourite. They also serve vegan hot puddings with vegan custard or icecream
Two vegans, including myself, and an Omni went for Xmas lunch. The meat main came out first. A couple of minutes later the two vegan mains came out with Yorkshire puddings. We checked as we had been told they weren't vegan so they took the plates away. The waiter apologised and said they were making fresh ones. We said just to take the Yorkshires off rather than make new ones. He went back to the kitchen, came back and said they'd be thrown away due to contamination. He then whisked away the Omni's food as it would have got cold while we waited. So not only was there a huge waste, but more animals have been killed because of the mess up. On top of this the service was very slow and the food was below average at best.
They now have a separate vegan menu which has loads of choices. The food is your typical pub grub and it’s nice they are putting such a focus of vegan food now.
Visited twice now and it’s consistently good. Staff could be a little more knowledgeable but I’m just being picky. But like all the Marston chains I’ve visited it’s a good choice to eat.
They now offer a separate vegan menu with plenty of options. The food is classic pub fare, and it's great to see them putting such an emphasis on vegan dining.
