Went a few months ago, Not the same place it was years ago. Shame really too many landlord's, maybe the brewery is to blame? Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Disaster no manager only two tonic left for four of us We had to leave desperate in need to manage better. Supervisor only trying his best under circumstances Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

We had previously booked a table for 8 people a few weeks before we went. Although the kitchen was closed for a private party they stood by our booking gave us a private room to dine in and cooked us 8 fantastic meals . Meals cooked to order so a little wait but well worth it. Even though they were very busy we were well looked after . We would definitely recommend this pub. This place was fantastic. We had a family meal there and the food was good home cooked fare with chips just like my mother used to make. The service was so good with 2 people taking orders at one point. We are going to go back next time we have a family party. It is an underused commodity which I hope doesn't get to busy selfishly.
