Little Dessert Shop - Lichfield

Grim. We visited when it first opened and enjoyed it. This time, pre-made waffles, warmed. Mediocre ice-cream, dry, bought-in cake. Sticky, dirty toilet floor and unclean toilet. Basin full of brown scum. Unwelcoming staff. Alas, the fresh fruit was alright.

Very good selection of sweet treats, milkshakes and more. Beautiful atmosphere interior. Very helpful and friendly staff. Helped us with a birthday cake for my 12 year old boy which I appreciate a lot. Everyone enjoyed it.

I ordered two flat whites and a latte, but all three were bitter and the coffee beans seemed burnt. As a frequent coffee drinker, I can tell when a cup is bad. I complained to the waitress who offered a refund, but the manager refused, claiming that all three coffees couldn't have been the same. Despite being made by the same person with the same beans, they were indeed all the same. We took one sip and left the drinks untouched, as we are not dishonest. We will not be returning to this restaurant. I recommend going a few yards down the road to Bore St Bakery if you want good coffee.

The best aspect of this restaurant is its air-conditioned room and well-organized seating. However, the ice cream is average and poorly presented. I took my grandchildren for a special treat after school, but their desserts were disappointing. They were advertised as having a chocolate-lined wafer basket, but in reality, it was just a plain wafer with 3 scoops of ice cream. I had visited this dessert place about 5 years ago and the desserts were fantastic back then. Unfortunately, the quality has declined. The service is lacking, with no waitress service provided, and the menu items do not match the pictures. Overall, the service was subpar and the expensive ice cream was not worth the cost. I do not plan on returning any time soon. It was a waste of money.

Really good desserts served here. Even my mother who isn't a fan of dessert places utterly adored it here.
