Nasty managers who want to argue vs doing your job. Keep your nasty butter burger.
I do like that they offer a variety of foods, even steamed veggies.
The drive through was a mess, waited 13 mins for the food, and the burgers were cold, and the fries Hot, I take it back in the store and the manager stated that he can put it in the microwave to heat it up, “. WHAT” we sir we did add cheese and onions and pickles and that will make the sandwich cold. Our products are kept in the refrigerator. UNEXCEPTIONABLE. This has happened to us a few times and this time I checked before going home. Stay away from this Culver’s food is always cold, unless you dine in.
The Culver’s in Tinley Park was my favorite Culver’s in the region … not anymore. One night I went through the drive-thru to get my family some ice cream. I had ordered a double scoop of chocolate, a single scoop of the flavor of the day, and a kid scoop of the flavor of the day. When I pulled up to pay I handed the man my payment for the two ice creams and the kid scoop coupon(they come on the kids meal bags). He told me it was the wrong coupon so he couldn’t take it off my order. I mistakenly grabbed the other coupon that comes on the kids meal bags. I searched around my car for the correct coupon but couldn’t find it, so I said just take the kid scoop off my order. I was a little frustrated at this point but I guess it wasn’t the exact coupon so I understood. Anyways, he then hands me my double scoop and the kid scoop instead of the single scoop. I told him that’s not right because I paid for a double scoop and single scoop. He was basically giving me a barely filled kids scoop and passing it off as a $4 single scoop (the cup sizes are different). Instead of just fixing the simple mistake by putting it in the correct cup size and adding a bit more, he starts arguing with me. He goes on this rant about how he’s had managerial experience for 12+years and about serving sizes. He then lectures me about the unit cost of different ingredients particularly pecans(which had nothing to do with the conversation). I was so frustrated at this point because the conversation just kept going on while my car was running and my other ice cream was melting . I finally just asked for a refund for the single scoop and left. The sad truth is he probably ended up tossing those ice creams in the trash anyways. The whole experience was just disheartening. I’ve been coming to this Culver’s for years and have always enjoyed their service/food. Idk if there’s been a change in management or what, but its not how it used to be. The atmosphere/customer service is hostile and the portions are pitiful. It’s sad they lost a dedicated customer over ice cream. For now on I’ll stick to the Orland location. Please treat your other customers with kindness.
