Tarheel Q Bbq - Lexington

I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered the coarse chopped pork. I was hoping for some brown bits, but unfortunately did not get any. However, the meat was smoked well and very tender and moist. The dip was a bit disappointing as it lacked tanginess. The BBQ slaw, also known as red slaw, was good. The hush puppies were good, but not outstanding. I usually like French fries, but I would skip them if I come back. The banana pudding was my favorite dessert, but I missed the Nilla wafers. Overall, the meal was good but there is definitely room for improvement.

As soon as you step out of your car, the aroma of BBQ cooking over a wood fire greets you. This is just the start of a delicious dining experience to follow.
