Childress Vineyards - Lexington

Just wondered for this vineyard! Great wines, excellent service! I did not eat there, I experienced the wine of tasting, 4 types of sweet wine, but you can try red or mixed. I definitely come back and bring some friends and family to visit!

We had a wonderful experience in Childress Winery Bistro. The food and wine was delicious, service was incredible. Gabi took care of us. Look forward to our return. Then we went to wine tasting and Crystal was so great and shared all her knowledge about wine and vineyard. What a wonderful and fun experience!

We made a flight, then the bistro, then a tasting. The girl in front of the front that gave us our flight was great, very knowledgeable and very personal, I'm sorry I forgot her name. Nautica was our waitress and she was great. All good except my burger should be MR, but was well done. I was hungry and we had to go on to our tasting so I'd eat it anyway. For tasting we had crystal that served us. She was very human and knowledgeable about the wines, the winery and many other aspects related to the winegrower, breeder and Richard, who came to lunch and said, hey, that was an unspoken pleasure. The tasting room had only one server and it took longer than what we were told, and there was a lot of dead time between spills. We were here when they first opened and what a difference. Overall was very pleasant.

Had a great time at Childress two weeks ago. We started with brunch in the bistro. The food was delicious. I had two entrees to decide?t. Wine sleep was delicious. We also made the wine tour and tasting. We felt really good. Would definitely recommend.

Came here last Friday for the first time after having driven past for years. Didn?t know what to expect, so I set the bar low. I was really impressed. The variety of selection was great, and the quality of the wine was actually quite good. I?m a novice when it comes to wine tasting, but I enjoyed the wines I tasted. The tasting which was $25 was more expensive than some other places but I felt that it was worth it. The lady doing our tasting was both knowledgeable and personable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Loved the fact that I got to keep the glass. After the tasting we shared a wine slushee flight, and it was actually quite tasty, and I?m not one to normally drink sweet wines. The grounds were beautiful and there were plenty of areas to sit and enjoy your wine and surroundings. Cannot comment on the bistro but I would like to try it. I will definitely be coming back. Just a quick drive from the Charlotte Metro.
