But beyond the delicious food, the real highlight of this restaurant is the staff and their service. It feels like there’s no single owner; everyone works together as equals to ensure your satisfaction. During my first visit, there were numerous examples of their outstanding service. I witnessed a staff member clearing tables who engaged with a customer, had a brief conversation, and then went to the kitchen to fetch an item they needed for their meal. You rarely see such genuine attentiveness from restaurant staff these days. My dad often reminisces about the good old days, and I’m grateful to have experienced that kind of hospitality firsthand. The establishment is also very clean and well-kept—truly a hidden gem. I can’t praise it enough! This now has become a regular spot for me when I'm not on tour. I highly recommend it for your next family BBQ outing!

I was really disappointed with this location. They forgot half of our order and didn’t even include the BBQ sauce. The food was poorly seasoned! The cabbage and potato salad were both subpar. There were no onions, peppers, or pickles included. The bread was hard as well. The location in Van, Texas has the best food and seasoning. This one feels like watered-down BBQ, similar to Spring Creek, and we all know that no one goes there! It ended up being a total waste of time and money.

My grandmother recently moved in with me in Lewisville, and a couple of nights ago, she was craving barbecue. We've since visited this place three times in just one week! She describes it as addictive! The meat is always incredibly tender, and they consistently fill the sides generously. Although they forgot one item on our last visit, they made sure to rectify it when we returned. My grandmother claims this location is the best one she's tried! This was my third visit to Soulman's, with my first being the day my grandmother moved in when she first told me about it. We will definitely make this our go-to spot whenever we're in the mood for barbecue!

I normally BBQ on my own due to the lack of seasoning and true BBQ with a good wood or charcoal to enhance. I was craving BBQ on my lunch hour. Decided to try Soulmans BBQ. I tried to door dash and their was an error. No worries. I?ll drive. Got thereand let?s start with the customer service which is lacking these days. Customer service was excellent. Even at checkout Ireceived ?have a blessed day mam? may seem small to others but it made my heart smile. EVERYTHING was seasoned. The friedcabbage/ the corn/ the beans/ the meat was seasoned, tender, and just dang good. I will return to try other menu items that Iknow won?t disappoint?.

Soulman's never let's me down... everytime I stop by here the staff is amazing and so friendly. They make sure they understand my order and prepaid perfectly. I always get a baked potato and I am never disappointed. The restaurant is clean and kept up with. All their selections are always fresh and in abundance. I appreciate everyone that works here so much!
