Drunken Donkey Craft Grill - Lewisville

The food was just average to below average. It felt like microwaved frozen foods with plastic utensils to eat with. When we got there, there were 6 or 7 normal tables available, but all had signs on them that said reserved so your only choice for a table was a high table with hard metal non back supporting bar stools to sit up high enough for the table. The waitress was a sweet but over talkative teenager that didn 't know the menu very well, and didn 't know any named alcoholic drinks. Service was marginal at best. Plus she was the only waiter not including the manager/owner or bartender. The atmosphere was 15 or so TVs on every wall, a man sitting at a table with a laptop, microphone, and a kid speaker, playing music from a playlist of generally popular songs and announcing a countdown to the trivia game coming up at 7 shortly followed by about 50 60 people coming in and filling the place up to capacity. They began playing a teams based trivia game and this was the only atmosphere . Aside from the multiple video golf arcade game machines in the actual dining room with the tables. Side note: I do realize it 's a sports bar and the owner is trying to attract business with games and participation things like trivia and golf. But, maybe have a separate dining area for the games from those who want to just enjoy a meals or drinks, and focus a little more on food quality and service.

If you want the definition of a dive bar, this is it. Food was absolutely awful. I swear they just buy a bag of pre-made chicken wings from Costco and mark them up and sell them. It was served with wilted and bleached celery that still had the leaf on top.Fried pickles were razor thin and 90% batter that was absolutely disgusting. I feel like the batter was left out over the week because it really tasted off . In addition to that it was served on top of wilted and disgusting shredded kale for some reason as a garnish. Totally unnecessary and unappetizing.

By far my favorite bar. Food and drinks are always on point and staff is beyond friendly most are like family. Raizel was super sweet and gave me my order super fast and checked on me throughout the night. Highly highly recommend.
