Aw Shucks Oyster - Lewisville

Great spot to enjoy a meal! Just place your order at the front and find a seat. They have a wide variety of seafood options. Our group sampled the shrimp, oysters, and catfish, and everyone was quite pleased. The restaurant was clean, and the portion sizes were reasonable. I particularly enjoyed the hush puppies; they were definitely the standout side dish!

The staff was friendly and patient as I figured out what I wanted, since it was my first time there. The interior was clean and not too crowded, which I appreciated. Parking was easy to find and ample. The food was delicious and generous in portion sizes. I also tried their margarita; it wasn't very strong, but it was quite tasty.

Got the catfish fillet and four shrimp combo. Good price for the fish, two hushpuppies and coleslaw. The tartar sauce was phenomenal. Tasted like it had a little extra dill in it and it was great. I?m usually not a fan of tartar, but this one wasawesome. The coleslaw tasted a little old or maybe too creamy. Not a big fan of that. Overall, very good. Sat outside in theiroutdoor patio. Would def come again or go to another location.

This restaurant didn't quite meet my expectations. I was not impressed with any of the dishes we tried; most of them were rather bland and lacking in flavor. The clam chowder was the highlight of our meal, but even that was just average. The blackened tilapia tacos lacked flavor, the fried crab balls were forgettable, and even the cocktail sauce for the oysters was underwhelming. I’m giving it 3 stars because there wasn't anything specifically wrong with the food or the service; it just didn’t stand out in a meaningful way.

I sat on the outdoor patio, and I would definitely come back or try another location.
