Prairie House -lewisville

Mid-day lunch and a barely occupied restaurant, one would assume a decent paced service. Well, my party did not receive their food for about 30-45min after the waiter took our order. In between the wait, the waiter did not make any checks or provide any reassurance or even an excuse. We were left without a word, let alone a simple refill (most of our cups were empty). I fully understand that restaurants may have ups and downs due to inexperienced staff or a busy night. That just wasn't the case here. It felt more like a disinterested staff or poor management. As for the food, wildly expensive and cash grabby. I don't see any reason to visit again. Neither the food, service, or pricing were enticing to me.

There was live music playing when you entered the restaurant, and it was lovely and had a country feel. Their biscuits were so delicious that I forgot to take a picture of them, and the cowboy quesadilla (which had brisket in it! was exceptional.

Slow service. Waited over 10 minutes for a waiter to come take drink orders. Cornbread muffins wasn’t fully cooked and cold. Chicken fried was tough. Catfish and shrimp were cold. Waitress had no customer service.

We were starving and the menu caught our eyes. Boy did this place not disappoint. I never leave a review but this place deserves the praise. I will forever be coming here every time i visit

We had a great experience. Food was great, service was great, atmosphere was great! We will definitely return.
