Sonali Tandoori - Lewisham

Ordered online as usual, but they forgot an item again. I let it go last time but called up this time. The moment I said they’d forgotten something the hut apparently couldn’t hear me. So I called back and the hung up on me instead of speaking- they have number recognition. As they’ve dealt with this so “well”, coupled with the fact they can’t seem to get orders right prior to the above 2 incidents , I won’t be using them again.

This is the second time we have used this restaurant for a takeaway and I couldn't fault it,the food was delicious and very reasonable prices, throughly enjoyed both meals and will use again

First time I used this takeaway and I was impressed. I’ve been searching for a decent Indian takeaway for a while. Up to now the food has been bland or overly hot with little flavour. The portion sizes were reasonable as was the price.

I don't usually eat Indian food regularly as it is often swimming in oil and repeats on you, so was very happy to find this little take away right down our road with great, reasonably priced food. I would say that we are now treating ourselves to Indian as often if not more than when we eat Chinese. Not sure about the other reviewers and their papadoms, we have always had them free. Delivery is super fast, but hey we are just down the road from them.

These guys really outdone themselves tonight as the food was just pure heaven! Easily the best Indian food in south east London. We went to a tandoori restaurant last week in chislehurst for bonfire night and it was overpriced and the food was blaned! We really missed our Sonali. The negative reviews on here that they have I am sure are from the other tandoori restaurants in the area just being jealous as they are trailing in their wake! Never had a problem either with delivery time as they say up to an hour which is expected for such quality and the food is always piping hot. Delivery guys are always polite. Compliments to the chef, and the rest of the Sonali team. Superb!!!!
