Contribuiți la feedbackWent to the Tavern on Tuesday night. As usual, all three ales were off (which might be a godsend, because they all taste like soap, due to the pub not cleaning the pipes properly). We were then informed that the Guinness was off, due to the nozzle being broken . I then asked for Brixton Pale Ale, only to be told that was off as well, as was Gamma Ray. I don 't drink lager or cider, so I opted for a rum coke. During all this discussion the member of bar staff 's attitude was of complete boredom, like she couldn 't wait to be rid of us. Speaking of which, the Sunday before we had attempted to get served at 8:40pm, only to be told that the pub was shut, despite the website saying it closes at 10pm on a Sunday. This pub is in danger of losing all it 's trade through a classic blend of incompetence, overcharging and contempt for its ' customers. We really want to support our local pub, but The Ladywell Tavern seems intent on driving people away with West End prices and unreliable opening hours. Come on, Ladywell Tavern, sort yourselves out!
Fantastic spot with amazing music and a nice outdoor seating area. Big shoutout to the staff, everything is awesome here.
This pub used to be a great spot for Sunday lunch, but our recent visit was disappointing. The beef was tough, fatty, and overcooked, almost like it had been boiled. The gravy lacked flavor and the vegetables were average. The horseradish sauce came in a plastic container and was just dumped on the plate. At £21, it felt like a rip-off especially since it used to be £17 and much better. The staff seemed inexperienced and our Bloody Marys took 25 minutes to arrive, even though it wasn't particularly busy. Overall, it seemed like there was a lack of leadership and organization.
The beer garden at this restaurant is nice. The drinks were good and the bartenders were friendly. However, we were extremely disappointed with the food. We ordered five meals as a family and were asked to pay upfront, including a service charge. The food was brought out one by one over a 25-minute period, resulting in some dishes being cold by the time others arrived. Despite raising our concerns with the staff multiple times, they seemed indifferent to our frustrations. Eventually, the manager apologized but offered little in terms of compensation. The quality of the food was subpar, with the burger being decent but the fish and chips being greasy and overcooked. The children's meals were uninspiring, lacking value for money. It was baffling why a service charge was implemented before the meal, especially considering the poor service received. It's a shame as the pub has a great location and beer garden potential, but they failed to deliver on even the most basic aspects of a dining experience.
The Customer certainly doesn’t come first in this Pub. The Barman told us he was busy cleaning Glasses The girl wearing the French style Black Beret said she was busy. I think she she thought she was on the. Catwalk. Obviously nobody in Charge. I could double the Turnover in that Pub
