Brier Patch Grill - Lewisburg

First trip going in there to eat and was the last trip. Time waiting for the food for what was brought out did not balance out. If you're in the area, I would recommend pretty much any other of the local eateries over this place. My wife had forgotten her phone, and upon returning to get it, she was first told it hadn't been found by the waitress. But after our tracking app showed it was in there, her story changed and turned over my wife's phone.

I was told by a family member that the Brier Patch has the best burgers in town. So I decided to give it a try and I enjoyed a burger topped with onion petals and the works, it was really delicious! I sat at the bar and there was a big screen TV with an MLB game on the screen which suited me just fine. The folks were friendly and kept my beverages full. There was a small crowd of twenty people or less so I was able to have my meal in private without a bunch of noise and distractions. Very clean, and well run. It's a more traditional venue with table service and menus rather than standing in a line at a counter to order, that is something that is hard to find in the newer restaurants these days. I say five stars and two thumbs up!!

The fries were burnt on the outside and had no other flavor than burnt. Boneless wings were burnt and dry. We ate because we were hungry but the meal was awful.

The wings here are legendary, and the service is heartwarming. If you are a road warrior looking for a good meal, and a friendly smile, this is your place. Every single person I have met working there has been an absolute star, and the wings are amazing.

This restaurant is a nice spot to take our 86-year-old parents to watch WVU football. The atmosphere is great, but we've had bad experiences with the food during our last two visits. On our most recent Saturday visit, we were among the first customers, yet our meals were significantly overcooked, and there was a lack of staff. Our waitress did her best, but with only one server available, it was difficult to get refills and other assistance. To top it off, our food order was also incorrect.
