The burgers are touted as the best in Delaware, and while that might be an overstatement, they truly were excellent. My wife and I each had a burger, and I also chose a custom option—Bacon Blue Cheese, which was delicious! My adult children ordered the fish and chips. The chips were good, but the fish didn’t quite measure up. If you stick with the burgers, though, this place deserves a full five stars!

The highlight of my visit was definitely the server, which is why I’m giving it three stars. The food didn’t really matter to me; some of my meal was okay, but the potato salad was very disappointing. I won’t be returning.

I dislike leaving a negative review for a place I once enjoyed, but my recent experience was disappointing. I understand that restaurants can get busy and that waiting is sometimes necessary. However, I was frustrated to see the host sitting at the bar, drinking beer with friends, while several tables were waiting for service and eventually left. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly. I have photos from the gathering to document what happened.

Great dinner tonight. John was our waiter. He was fantastic. He recommended fish and chips, and the steak, and it was great. Not broken or cooked. The muscle starter was also perfect. All 8 of us had a great time and enjoyed everything we ordered. John really took care of us.

Excellent out of the way pub! I went mid-afternoon and there were only a few people at the bar. Great atmosphere, TVs over the bar so you can watch some sports. Bartender was super nice. I had the fish and chips and a Tito's Moscow Mule with cranberry juice. The fish was amazing! Not the frozen kind you get at the store, there was a lot of fish, battered and crispy. French fries were delicious, not too much salt. Perfection! If you're in the area, you need to check this place out!
