Loaves & The Dishes - Leura

According to their website they are open until 5pm- we turned up at 3 for a late lunch. It's freezing here today and they've opened up the outside doors to encourage us all to leave. That is just poor service - the average food doesn't justify the attitude!!

Had a great day with Barefoot Australia in the Blue Mountains and were lucky enough to be recommended this restaurant for lunch. Had a lovely Kangaroo burger friendly staff and great service

Burgers, soup, lasagna. frittata and other goodies. All served quickly by friendly staff. Yummy. Great for lunch.

A very disappointing lunch. The salmon and leek frittata had only burned leek on the top and was made with canned salmon. It was tasteless and dry and there was no way I could eat more than a few mouthfuls it was so bad. My partner's chicken pasta bake contained spicy sausage leading us to think they had used a dish from the day before and reheated with chicken and cheese. The salad was grated carrot on spinach leaves. We went in because it looked so busy. An elderly couple at the table behind us said they hadn't ordered the lentil soup but the waiter said "that's what it says on the paper" then walked away leaving the poor woman with something she clearly didn't want. Terrible!

We called in here for breakfast after our hotel was a let down. Wonderful friendly service and an awesome winter breakfast that kept us going all day. Coffee was also great. A 4 star resort could take some lessons.
